The movie is coming and I think it’s going to be huge!

Wow.  The weather has turned.  Turned into lovely.  After spending almost every waking hour during the week indoors, it’s so nice to be able to get outside for just a little bit.  Today was nice and warm out, and I took advantage of it the best I could.  Saturdays have become somewhat religious for me.  Taking in the glory of a day off.  Working your ass off is hard work!  And being inside makes it even harder..  So I am delighted that the weather is getting warmer, sunnier.  The hammock was a nice place to be today.  I can’t wait for 3 weeks of this, come mid-June!

I’m addicted to these cookies right now.  They’re cherry-chocolate with almonds and they’re delicious.  There’s nothing like a fresh baked cookie right out of the oven…  

Friday’s are always nice at work.  Though everyone is exhausted, we are all glad it’s Friday and that the weekend is just a sleep away.  We usually start to unwind around 5pm on Friday, enjoy a snack or two and a beer.  Today was especially nice.  We ate sushi and drank some pretty delicious micro-brew from a place whose name I am blanking on…  After the grind of the week it’s nice to relax and enjoy each other’s company, rather than asking each other to move meetings, approve this or that.  We can have the most stressful week, and still be able to laugh and relax at the end of it, beer in hand.  The awesome animation crew brought up some beer for us from the Knife and Fiddle.  As you can see, I drained my glass with pleasure.

I’ve decided I’m going to try and post more entries here.  I always get bursts of inspiration for blogs, but quickly lose steam..  I’ve been reading a lot of other people’s blogs lately though, and it’s inspired me to think more about things around me, and what’s really important.  I suppose we are lucky to have the internet to amplify our voice, and I suppose I could use it for more than just updating my status on facebook.  

If you know me though, you’ll know I’m not one for heavily preaching my beliefs to the world.  Sometimes I get inspired to do so, and other times I just silently wish I could tweak society slightly, to be more understanding, accepting and caring.  

It’s inspiring to read how passionate people are about equal rights, and while I don’t always shout my views from the rooftops, I’m glad there are people out there who do…
